As Commercial Manager you are responsible for drawing up, handling and monitoring commercial plans relating to all client activities, with a focus on achieving growth. Your core tasks here consist of expanding commercial activities, nationally and internationally, coming up with creative sales and marketing strategies and actions and proactively advising your clients on relevant product and market developments, in order to further optimize the market position.
The position
As Commercial Manager you are responsible for drawing up, handling and monitoring commercial plans relating to all client activities, with a focus on achieving growth. Your core tasks here consist of expanding commercial activities, nationally and internationally, coming up with creative sales and marketing strategies and actions and proactively advising your clients on relevant product and market developments, in order to further optimize the market position.
In addition, you are responsible for further developing the talent within the marketing and sales team. You do this by inspiring, motivating, coaching and enthusing your team. You stimulate your colleagues to achieve growth objectives and you ensure that the processes, focused on customer relations, run integrally well and efficiently and that customers are maximally satisfied. Developing, improving and monitoring sales processes play an important role in this.
In addition, you also like to put your feet in the clay and are commercially active with important key accounts.
The Profile

You are friendly, approachable and you know how to inspire your team as a cooperating foreman, whereby you let your team grow by listening and giving direction. In a natural way you know how to deal with the down-to-earth 'hands-on' mentality within the organisation. As a person you are down-to-earth, honest, and reliable and you know that you can only achieve success together with the team.
In addition, you have:
Completed college or university education.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a managerial commercial role
Extensive hands-on experience in sales and marketing
Thorough knowledge of the company's market is a plus.
Experience with SaaS: knowledge of construction sector is desirable.
Familiar with agile working environment
Good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of German language is an advantage.
