Purpose of the position

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing FlexWhere to achieve sales and/or brand growth. The Product Marketing Manager has Product ownership and is as such responsible for prioritising the tickets concerning the product development from the marketing perspective. Besides that, the Product Marketing Manager is together with the Development Manager and Commercial Director partly responsible for setting and evaluating the general priorities of the product development, sales and marketing activities. 


Result areas

  • Develops quarterly product strategy and implementing product plans, by using the right marketing tools, on- and offline, and making sure all channels are in line with strategy.

  • Sets direction, has overview, and creates and implements marketing and communication activities for the brand, in line with corporate and brand visions.

  • Initiating campaigns to improve lead generation and make critical analytics of the results

  • Making decisions, including prioritising tickets based on data available from the data team, customer demand and marketing dashboards.

  • Monitor market trends, customer demands, competitors and target audiences.

  • Own the development and messaging of the brand story.

  • Educate colleagues about the brand story and give constructive feedback to optimise.

  • Have a customer-centric approach using customer satisfaction insights (NPS score) to recommend app and communication improvements to improve customer experience.

  • Cooperate closely with sales and development to achieve joint goals to create growth.


  • Achieving annual Product sales Budget

  • Improving lead generation conversion rates

  • Optimising customer satisfaction and experience (NPS score)

  • Add in milestones for 3 months, and monthly check-ins with the Commercial Director


  • HBO's level of education

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar position.

  • Knowledge of content planning and campaigns.

  • Brand marketing communication knowledge. 

  • You are self-employed, creative, result-driven, determined and proactive.

  • Good command of the Dutch and English language.
