Highlighted project: Wonderwoods, the tallest green building in the Netherlands

Utrecht’s latest ‘’wonder’’, Wonderwoods, has just reached its highest point. This impressive development covers 80,000 square metres of residential and office space and is now the tallest green building in the Netherlands. Located in the Beurskwartier, Wonderwoods creates a green space right in the city centre and offers a fresh take on urban living.

A key player in this project is Ed Controls, a digital construction app powered by Dutchview. Ed Controls ensures the communication between numerous stakeholders on site or on remote locations. It enables the site managers to check quality and show quality inspectors that quality levels have been met. In the end, the final stage with the residents is organised with the help of the audit module where every resident signs for the quality of their brand new apartment.

Thanks to Ed Controls, the construction teams can easily track and handle everything, ensuring that Wonderwoods is progressing on schedule.

The two towers of Wonderwoods, measuring 104 and 70 metres high, are not only eye-catching but also a great example of sustainable design. With a hectare of vertical forest, green roofs, and inner gardens, Wonderwoods shows how we can bring nature into city life.
